An angular room, remapped.
Overview
At The Reach at the Kennedy Center, vertical LED panels, projection, lighting, and playback transformed an angular event room for a Bat Mitzvah.
The Reach's rooms are deliberate architecture — angled white planes, high ceilings, nothing square. A visual system has to work with that geometry, not fight it, and everything must arrive, build, run, and strike inside one day.
Vertical LED panels carried content into the room at floor level while projection used the architecture itself as a surface. I handled panel transport, setup, live VJ performance through the event, and strike.
The room's own geometry became the show. The white planes took color and texture without a single fixture reading as an intrusion, and the space was returned as found.
